Carmella is the winner of the first (and 2nd) Women's Money in the Bankladder match, and has held the briefcase since June of last year. Carmella only has a year to cash in and that's coming up soon. With her time running out it makes you wonder where her cash in will happen. Here's when I think it could happen.
The most memorable place for Carmella to cash in would be WrestleMania. If WWE wants to make this cash in memorable, Carmella defeating Asuka would be very memorable.
Asuka is the winner of the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble match. Winning the Rumble guarantees Asuka a match at WrestleMania, where she will face the Raw or SmackDown Women's Champion. Now, (assuming Asuka wins the title), Carmella cashing in on Asuka not only means she wins the title, but that she ends Asuka's undefeated streak. Carmella stealing the title and ending Asuka's streak would definitely be WrestleMania moment, and it will probably go down as the greatest cash in we've ever seen.
This past Monday on Raw, Stephanie McMahon announced that Alexa Bliss will defend her title in the first-ever Women's Elimination Chamber match.
The Elimination Chamber match is one of WWE's most brutal matches, making this the perfect opportunity for Carmella.
Alexa Bliss will be trapped inside with five other female competitors, all of them gunning for her title. The Chamber match is not only brutal, but exhausting. Whether Bliss retains, or another Superstar wins, they'll be vulnerable, and that's when Carmella will have her chance.
Now, Carmella is a SmackDown Live Superstar, but that doesn't mean she can't cash in on the Raw Women's champion. Since Carmella won the contract, WWE has never said she has to cash in on the SmackDown champion, so her cashing in on the Raw champion shouldn't be a problem.
Carmella has the golden ticket, the Money in the Bank contract almost guarantees she will be the next Raw or SmackDown Women's Champion. When will she cash in, that's the big question, but when she does it will be F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S.
