WWE "Beast In The East" Results (7/4/15) - Brock Lesnar, Balor Wins Title

"The Beast Incarnate" Brock Lesnar makes his long anticipated return to Japan and his first in-ring action since he lost the WWE Title at WrestleMania.

Chris Jericho vs Neville

BREAK THE WALLS DOWN! The show opens with Chris Jericho making his entrance. His opponent will be "The Man Who Gravity Forgot" Neville in what promises to be a great bout. The Tokyo crowd are showing their support early for Jericho, who had great success in Japan many years ago, chanting "Y2J".

Jericho currently has the upper hand, using various holds to slow down Neville's offence before clotheslining him over the top rope. But then Neville hits back with a drop kick! It isn't long however until Y2J takes control again, firstly sending Neville flying off the apron and then back to the holds.

Jericho wins by submission after applying The Lion Tamer to Neville.

WWE Divas Championship Match: Paige vs. Tamina vs. Nikki Bella (c)

Paige out to the ring first, then Tamina, then Nikki. Very back and forth exchanges in the opening stages but the three just hit a sick looking triple powerbomb off the top rope to bring the crowd into this one.

Paige almost has Nikki, but she kicks out. Paige goes for the PTO and has Nikki in the middle of the ring but gets saved by a Tamina super kick. Samoan Drop by Tamina to set up the Superfly Splash but she misses, allowing Nikki to hit that forearm finisher to pick up the win and retain the title.

Winner: and STILL Divas Champion: Nikki Bella

Kofi Kingston vs. Brock Lesnar

The time has come for Brock Lesnar to return to WWE action. Kofi out to the ring first, clapping positively, and he's going to need ALL that positivity right now. Lesnar out to a great reaction from the crowd with no Paul Heyman.

Bell rings and Kofi is out the ring, being chased down by Lesnar. They get back in the ring and while Kofi managed to land on his feet the first time, Kofi eventually took a trip to Suplex City. Brock looks fired up in this one and in amazing shape. Just like that it's over as Lesnar nails an F5 and picks up the win.

Winner: Brock Lesnar

Lesnar circles Kofi post match and hits another German Suplex, before he nails him with another F5 in what what obviously a message to Seth Rollins. Xavier Woods and Big E out to make the save but both are met with an F5. Lesnar is simply put, THE Beast.

Finn Balor vs. Kevin Owens

This is the match we've all been waiting for. Balor out first to a huge reception from the Japanese crowd. The body paint Balor has on is incredible. Kevin Owens out and makes his way slowly to the ring. Before the wrestlers are announced they are both presented with flowers, and streamers descend on the ring for Balor as Owens throws the flowers out the ring. The streamers are cleared and the bell rings. Hideo Itami shown at ringside watching this one.

Balor explodes from the off, drop kicking Owens into the corner before launching himself onto Owens outside the ring. Owens then takes back control before he ends up eating a drop kick to the outside. Balor with a drop kick to Owens on a chair outside the ring. Back in the ring and Owens and Balor battle back and forth before Owens takes control.

Owens sends Balor to the outside more than once, looking for the cheap count out win but Balor beats the count by 9 first time and 8 the second. Owens playing with the crowd as he hits the ropes only to put a reverse chin lock on Balor. Balor battles back and begins to build a little steam, before Owens mocks John Cena with the Five Knuckle Shuffle. He has Balor up for an AA, but Balor counters and hits a double foot stomp to a downed Owens.

Balor and Owens exchange some back and forth reversals before Balor nails Owens with a Pele Kick. Chants of this is awesome ring out through the arena. Both men back to their feet before Balor pulls the top rope down for Owens to go out of the ring before he nails an aerial flip suicide dive to the outside. Balor hits a reverse DDT but Owens kicks out. Balor to the top rope looking to finish but he misses and ends up being cannon balled in the corner, but Balor kicks out.

Balor takes down Owens and heads up top again looking for the win but Owens back to his feet. Headbutts by Owens to Balor, but he hits an inziguri. Balor goes to the top and hits his finisher but Owens somehow kicks out. Balor releases a flurry of punches on Owens in the corner and gets the big man on the top rope. Owens reverses the attempted super plex, but Balor counters again . Owens with a rolling senton off the top but Balor kicks out.

Owens goes to the top rope to finish but Balor gets his knees up. Balor hits a sick looking double arm DDT but Owens again kicks out. Owes hits a suplex on Balor but he kicks out again. Owens screams at Balor that he can't beat him. Owens goes for his powerbomb finish but Balor counters and is able to hit a hesitation drop kick in the corner before hitting his double foot stomp finish for the dramatic win. What a match and congratulations to Finn Balor on becoming the brand new NXT Champion.

Winner and NEW NXT Champion: Finn Balor

Both standing in the ring post match as Owens looks stunned. Balor is made up and it's an amazing moment to witness as Tatsumi Fujinami comes out to congratulate him. Balor and Owens face off in the middle of the ring, before Balor offers his hand to Owens. The fans chant NXT before Owens walks away like a true heel. Balor out to the fans to celebrate his amazing victory.

King Barrett and Kane vs. Dolph Ziggler and John Cena

Barrett, the Kane out to the ring first. Ziggler out to a good reaction from the crowd, followed by John Cena who receives a fairly good reception and no Cena Sucks chants for a change. Normality soon resumes as the Let's Go Cena/Cena Sucks duel chants get going. Dolph and Barrett kick things off as the bell rings.

Barrett and Ziggler exchange advantage back and forth early on in this, with some great counters and moves on display. Barrett then takes advantage and tags in Kane who quickly takes control of Ziggler, before Dolph manages to get a tag to John Cena. Cena and Kane face off in the middle of the ring in a power match up. Kane eventually takes the upper hand and then tags in Barrett.

Barrett takes Cena down and gets him in a headlock. Cena tries to break out and reaches for the tag to Dolph but Barrett re-positions himself and tries to get Cena down to the mat. Cena rams Barrett into the corner. Barrett tags in Kane, who then cuts off Cena from tagging Dolph and takes control.

Barrett back in and controls Cena. Cena begins to look like he was coming back but Barrett kicks Cena in the ribs. Knees to the back by Barrett followed by a reverse chin lock. Crowd begins to clap to encourage Cena back into the match. Cena and Barrett now down on the mat before Cena begins to slowly but surely fight back. Cena hits an AA on Barrett and both men down before Barrett tags in Kane. Kane goes for a chokeslam, reversed by Cena who tries to hit an AA, but he falls to the mat with Kane on his back.

Cena attempting to fight back but Kane manages to keep Cena in the ring and then tags in Barrett. Cena eventually manages to get the tag to Ziggler, who explodes into the ring and takes down Barrett. Ziggler goes after Kane but then gets caught by a big boot from Barrett. Kane tagged in and takes the action outside, dropping Ziggler across the guard rail.

Action now goes back in the ring now and Kane tags in Barrett, who proceeds to assault Ziggler in the corner before kicking him in the ribs. Ziggler begins to build up some steam and counters with a crucifix pin but Barrett kicks out and nails Ziggler with a hard hitting clothesline. Kane back in and begins to break Ziggler down. Ziggler fights back but gets a power bomb for his troubles. Kane with the pin but Ziggler kicks out.

Barrett back into the match and gives Ziggler a big boot, causing him to fall to the outside. Barrett works Ziggler outside the ring before bringing the action back inside the ring. Ziggler begins to fight back but gets nailed with a Winds of Change. Ziggler kicks out and Kane tagged back into the match as Barrett appears frustrated.

Kane looks to take advantage but Dolph gets his knees up to hit a low blow on Kane. Attempts by both men to tag but only Kane is successful in making his. Barrett back in to bring Ziggler to his corner, tagging in Kane before a double team. Kane goes for the pin but Dolph kicks out. Kane whips Dolph into the corner and is met with a Ziggler elbow, before Dolph hits a DDT and both men make tags.

Cena hits a Five Knuckle Shuffle, before hitting an AA on Kane. Barrett misses Cena with a clothesline and eats a super kick from Ziggler, which ends up with Cena hitting the AA to pick up the win. Cena and Dolph celebrate in the middle of the ring together, before taking their celebration out to the fans as the show comes to an end with the two at the end of the entrance. The show ends with Finn Balor being shown celebrating his historic NXT Championship win.

Winners: John Cena & Dolph Ziggler
