WWE Expanding in India
The Hindu Business Line, citing anonymous sources, claims that WWE along with Ten Sports will invest over $100 million in the Indian entertainment market. The publication reported that Ten Sports CEO Rakesh Sethi refused to give out financials but Rukn Kizilbash, WWE's General Manager in India, said they were committed to the market and is making a "good amount of investment."
Funds will reportedly be used to bring in technology to reduce the gap between the TV shows from when they air in the US to the time they air in India. Further, there will reportedly be more live events in India and a WWE line of merchandise for kids and adults.

While some may find it odd WWE would be looking to make a significant financial investment during deep budget cuts, it is one of their most important international markets. In fact, WWE and Ten Sports announced a new 5 year TV distribution deal last week (a point covered in the aforementioned piece).
