Triple H was in attendance at UFC 205: Alvarez vs. McGregor in New York City on Saturday. The rumor has already begun that WWE wants Conor McGregor to appear for them.
This is hardly a surprise considering McGregor is the clear top fighter in the UFC and he made comments earlier in the year, calling out the WWE roster (sans Vince McMahon, Triple H and The Rock, who he called "dons").
After WWE agreed to let Brock Lesnar fight for the UFC under contract, the feeling has been that they would get a UFC fighter to appear in exchange. Ronda Rousey made a surprise appearance alongside The Rock at Wrestlemania 31.
Here is the August 2016 video where McGregor said the rest [of WWE guys] were “p**sies.” Regarding Brock Lesnar failing drug tests connected to his fight against Mark Hunt at UFC 200, The Notorious One stated:
“I mean fair play to Brock, he got in and fought [at UFC 200] ... but at the end of the day he's juiced up to the eyeballs ... so how can I respect that?”
After CM Punk fought in September, McGregor offered respect but doubled down on his comments to the rest of the WWE roster.
