WWE Issues Statement On Toddler's Passing Following Use Of "Wrestling Moves"

We reported earlier in the week about the ghastly real-life story with parents taking the world of professional wrestling way too far by using moves they learned on TV on their 2-year old daughter, which ultimately led to her death. Things like this are obviously very tragic and horrible for the victim(s) involved but they also have an impact on how the general public views wrestling as a whole whether that opinion is valid or not.

WWE has issued the following statement on the story:

"We are deeply saddened by this tragic death and hope that the guilty parties are brought to justice. There is no excuse or justification for the brutal and ultimately fatal beating of a 2 year old child by a grown man. This is a clear case of criminal intent and a lack of parental supervision."

Our condolences go out to anyone deeply affected by this tragedy.
