WWE Not Acknowledging Releases, Bill DeMott Responds To Rumor, The First Raw

- WWE didn't acknowledge the release of Trent Barreta on dot com. This is something they've shied away from with their last several releases (the release of Kharma comes to mind) as one observer commented about how it makes the company look bad. There was was speculation the releases were "ignored" during the Linda McMahon Senate campaign as she was being billed as a "proven jobs creator" but that wasn't the only reason. The feeling has been to quietly remove the profile of terminated stars rather than tout them with official announcements.

- Bill DeMott responded to a rumor he was fired by WWE [as head developmental trainer] on Twitter by saying there was "no truth" to it. While we never ran the rumor here at, there has been controversy surrounding DeMott due to allegations brought against him by former developmental worker Kevin Matthews.
