WWE NXT Results (9/16/15)

Rich Brennan welcomes us to the show as we begin the road to NXT TakeOver: Respect. Corey Graves and Byron Saxton are also on commentary.
Tyler Breeze makes his way to the ring for the opening match. We see footage from last week of Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa scoring the win over Breeze & Bull Dempsey in a first-round Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Match. Breeze attacked Bull after the match.
"The Party Pooper" Adam Rose comes down to the ring cutting a promo with no music. Rose says it is his turn to take a big poop on NXT. There is no more fun allowed. Bull Dempsey's music hits and he has a mic. Bull says Breeze looks surprised to see him. Bull says what he's going to do to Breeze right now is no accident.
Bull gets in the ring and is welcomed by Bull Fit chants. Breeze asks Bull what makes him think he can interrupt what was about to happen? Bull poses on the top rope like Breeze to a pop. Breeze says the only accident he can remember is being paired with Bull... and the day Bull was born. Breeze says Bull cost him the Tag Team Classic. Bull tells Rose to give him the ring. Rose asks Bull if he's crazy. Rose is here to poop all over Breeze's party and then will poop on Bull's party. Rose slaps Bull. Bull fires back with punches. Breeze goes at Bull, but soon leaves the ring before Bull can get his hands on him.
The commentators discuss Bull's actions. The Tag Team Classic continues as Gargano & Ciampa will face Rhyno & Baron Corbin tonight. Also, Bayley returns to the ring.
Tyler Breeze is backstage talking to his phone. Breeze accepts Bull's challenge for next week.
Tye Dillinger makes his way to the ring. Danny Burch is already in the ring.
Tye Dillinger vs. Danny Burch
Tye and Burch lock up, Burch works the left arm. Tye gets Burch in an arm hold. Burch gets out and applies a headlock. Tye gets out and does a cart wheel. Tye trips Burch, but takes an elbow and uppercut to the head. Burch mocks Tye's Perfect 10. Burch stretches Tye's left arm around his own head. Tye gets to his feet and clotheslines Burch. Dillinger stomps on Burch's head. Tye takes down the knee pad and connects with the knee to the head for the win.
Winner: Tye Dillinger - by pinfall (3:15)
Rhyno & Baron Corbin are backstage. They are asked if they are worried about Gargano & Ciampa. Rhyno laughs at the question. Corbin doesn't know where these guys came from, but he doesn't care. Corbin says they are looking right past them.
We see a vignette for Asuka, who debuts next week.
Apollo Crews makes his way to the ring. Solomon Crowe enters.
Apollo Crews vs. Solomon Crowe
Crowe and Crews shake hands before locking up. Crews throws Crowe down to the mat. They stare at each and circle the ring before trading waist locks. Crowe takes Crews down with a headlock, Crews does the same. They get up and face each other. Lock up again, Crews takes a right to the head. Crews does some flips and connects with a dropkick. Crews dead-lifts Crowe into a suplex. Crowe rolls out of the ring and then is knocked off the apron. Crowe gets Crews stuck inside the ring apron, and the ref has to pull him away.
Back in the ring, Crowe covers Crews for a two. Crowe stomps on Apollo in the corner. Crowe kicks Crews across the back before locking up with forearm against his head. Crowe clotheslines Crews, cover. Crowe applies a chinlock. Crews gets to his feet and knocks Crowe away from a sleeper. Crews clotheslines Crowe and splashes in the corner. Crews hits the Gorilla Press followed by the standing moonsault for the win.
Winner: Apollo Crews - by pinfall (4:51)
Gargano & Ciampa are backstage. Gargano says no one has given him a chance his entire life. They showed they deserve a chance after beating Tyler Breeze and Bull Dempsey last week. Ciampa says they have earned their keep. Tonight, they move one step to the finals.
Devin Taylor is backstage with Emma and Dana Brooke. Emma shuts Devin up and brings up Bayley returning. Brooke says she wants to show the newbies who's in charge. Play time is over.
Outside, we see a car pull up and Sasha Banks steps out.
Kyle Edwards is at the WWE Headquarters to talk about the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. He goes over the matches that have already taken place on TV and at live events: Balor & Joe beat The Lucha Dragons last week in the main event. The Hype Bros beat two newbies at a live event. The Hype Bros will eventually face Jordan & Gable.
Blake & Murphy went under to The Vaudevillains at a live event. Next week, we will see The Vaudevillains vs. The Mechanics, which will take place during NXT's tour of Texas. Up next is our first second-round match-up.
Rhyno makes his way to the ring, followed by Baron Corbin. Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa enter together.
2nd Round Match: Rhyno & Baron Corbin vs. Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa
Rhyno and Ciampa start with a lock up. Rhyno is chopped in the corner before shoving Ciampa down. They trade several chops. Ciampa with running knees into the corner, clothesline follows. Gargano gets the tag, double team work with kicks on Rhyno. Corbin runs in, but is taken out. Gargano flies out onto Corbin. Rhyno is sent out, and Gargano dives out again. Ciampa goes up top and leaps out onto both Rhyno and Corbin.
Ciampa sends Rhyno back in the ring, cover. Gargano tagged again, arm break from the top. Ciampa comes back in and they whip Rhyno into the corner together before kicking Rhyno at the same time. Corbin gets the tag after Rhyno clotheslines Ciampa. Ciampa slides out from Corbin, but is planted with a swinging slam.
Corbin holds Ciampa in the ropes with his legs. Rhyno gets the tag and drops a knee onto Ciampa. Ciampa throws a right from the apron and tries to get back in the ring. Rhyno catches Ciampa before a tag is made. Ciampa is thrown into the heel corner, Corbin gets the tag. Corbin stomps on Ciampa several times. Rhyno comes back in. Rhyno places Tommaso up top, but Ciampa punches him away. Ciampa connects with a missile dropkick. Ciampa and Rhyno make tags.
Gargano uppercuts and dropkicks Corbin. Roll through kick from Johnny. Gargano plants Corbin with a DDT, cover. Ciampa takes Rhyno to the corner, as Gargano and Corbin brawl in the other. Rhyno misses the Gore on Gargano. Johnny rolls Corbin, nearfall. They get up and Corbin hits End of Days on Gargano for the win.
Winners: Baron Corbin & Rhyno - by pinfall (8:03)
Rhyno & Corbin celebrate in the ring as they are the first team to make it to the final four.
The Vaudevillains face Dash & Dawson next week in Texas. They tell Devin Taylor winning the tournament while being NXT Tag Team Champions would be gratifying. BAMF walk up, and Alexa announces Blake & Murphy will receive their title rematch next week on NXT.
A Nia Jax vignette airs.
Confirmed for next week - Bull Dempsey vs. Tyler Breeze; Blake & Murphy vs. The Vaudevillains for the NXT Tag Team Championship.
NXT Women's Champion Bayley makes her way to the ring for her first televised match since TakeOver. Bayley runs through the crowd in the NXT Arena. Bayley brings Izzie into the ring to celebrate. A jobber is already in the ring.
Bayley vs. Sarah Dobson
Sarah headbutts Bayley and attacks her to the mat. Bayley fires back with elbows, but is tripped into the ropes. Sarah does a cart wheel into a kick. Dobson takes Bayley to the corner again. Dobson and Bayley roll to the mat into a submission. Bayley gets to her feet while holding Sarah, running her into the corner. Bayley comes back with double ax handles. Bayley nails a suplex and connects with the belly to belly slam for the win.
Winner: Bayley - by pinfall (2:29)
Bayley starts to cut a promo when Sasha Banks' music hits. Banks comes down to the ring with a mic. Banks says she didn't come out her to belittle Bayley, she came out here to congratulate her. Ever since TakeOver, all Sasha is heard is how they stole the show. And the only thing she's heard is how it was the match of the year. That was the greatest women's match this company had ever seen.
Banks says it's great for everyone except her. She came here to be the best, not to put on great matches. Sasha calls Bayley good, and says Bayley earned her respect. But it was that night only. Bayley is still not Sasha, and Sasha has a bigger point to prove. Bayley fires back by saying she has a legacy that she has to start. Bayley has no problem giving her a rematch.
Banks declines having the rematch now. She has a point to prove. Sasha has a message. Bayley asks Sasha if she wants to see who the best woman is? Sasha says she doesn't want to just beat Bayley once or twice. Banks says fairy tales don't just have a happy ending.
William Regal interrupts and announces that on October 7th at NXT TakeOver, Sasha Banks will receive her rematch against Bayley in the main event. But that's not all... The match will be a 30-Minute IronWoman Match for the NXT Women's Championship!
Banks and Bayley shake hands to end the show.
