We see footage of last week's near-hour-long 2/3 Falls number one contenders match between Samoa Joe and Sami Zayn. Joe won 2-1 with a muscle buster and the clutch.

Tom Phillips and Corey Graves welcome us to the show from commentary. Sami Zayn makes his way down to the ring to kick things off.

Zayn grabs a mic and begins by saying he went to war with Samoa Joe. Zayn isn't embarrassed about losing because they went toe-to-toe for almost an hour. Whether it's Joe or it's Finn, Sami's goal is still the same - to become the first-ever two-time NXT Champion. Zayn focuses his attention to NXT TakeOver: Dallas and how it will steal the show.

NXT General Manager William Regal makes his way out. Regal agrees with Zayn; he does deserve something special at TakeOver for everything he's done. Regal announces Zayn will face NXT's newest signee - Shinsuke Nakamura - at TakeOver on April 1st.

Nakamura appears on the tron and tells Zayn he will see him in Dallas. Zayn leaves the ring with a smile on his face.

Phillips and Graves praise Regal for the latest signings in NXT. Later tonight, The Vaudevillians vs. American Alpha. Plus, Bayley & Asuka vs. Eva Marie & Nia Jax.

Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley make their way to the ring for the first match. Angelo Dawkins and Kenneth Crawford are already in the ring.

The Hype Bros vs. Angelo Dawkins & Kenneth Crawford

Mojo and Crawford start the match. Mojo shoves Crawford back into the heel corner and Dawkins tags in. Mojo takes Angelo down with a crossbody. Ryder tags in as Mojo body slams Dawkins. Ryder is whipped into a corner but counters with double knees and a missile dropkick. Ryder connects with a forearm in the corner before kicking both Dawkins and Crawford. Dawkins trips Ryder on the apron.

Dawkins gains control until tags are made. Mojo takes Crawford down with shoulderblocks and a splash in the corner. The Hype Bros hit the Hype Ryder on Crawford for the win.

Winners: The Hype Bros - by pinfall (3:23)

We see footage from NXT's recent appearance at the Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus.

Backstage, Dana Brooke and Emma are walking an talking when they come across Deonna Purrazzo. Emma says their match tonight will be worse than the beating she received from Asuka. Emma jokes about Deonna threatening to stop her.

Deonna Purrazzo makes her way to the ring. Emma enters next with Dana Brooke accompanying her.

Emma playfully shoves Deonna a few times until Deonna fires back with a hard shove. Emma unloads with strikes to the gut in the corner. Emma flips her over to kick her in the back. Emma yanks on Deonna's arms while stepping on her hair. Purrazzo gets a little bit of offense in, but Emma takes her back down with a clothesline. Emma kicks Deonna as she hangs in the corner.

Emma connects with the crossbody at the bottom turnbuckle. Emma applies a headlock. Purrazzo with a few elbow strikes followed by a running knee to the face. Emma locks Deonna up with the Dilemma in the ropes. Emma applies the Emma Lock for the win.

Winner: Emma - by submission (3:50)

We see highlights of The Revival vs. Enzo Amore & Big Cass at Roadblock this past Saturday.


Tommaso Ciampa quickly makes his way out to the ring. Jesse Sorenson is already in the ring.

Ciampa unloads with punches on Sorenson in the corner. Ciampa boots him hard. Sorenson works his way out of a powerbomb before eating a clothesline. Ciampa applies a headlock on the mat. Sorenson gets out and takes Ciampa down with a big dropkick. Sorenson chops Tommaso in the corner. Ciampa counters and elbows Sorenson. Ciampa submits Sorenson with the arm bar.

Winner: Tommaso Ciampa - by submission (2:14)

We see Jason Jordan & Chad Gable warming up backstage as they prepare for the main event.

Last month - Bayley retained against Carmella. Afterwards, Nia Jax & Eva Marie attacked until Asuka made the save. This sets up the next tag team contest.

Nia Jax makes her way to the ring first, followed by Eva Marie. Asuka is out next, with NXT Women's Champion Bayley entering last.

Nia Jax & Eva Marie vs. Asuka & Bayley

Jax starts the match by taking Bayley to the corner. Jax tags in Eva, who is heavily booed. Bayley takes Eva down while she's taunting the crowd. Asuka tags in and prevents Eva from getting to Nia. Eva strikes Asuka. Asuka smiles and unloads with kicks. Asuka connects with the hip block. Bayley tags in, taking Eva down with a shoulder block. Jax tags in and slams Bayley. Eva taps Bayley in an arm stretch. Bayley gets out and rolls Eva up a couple times.

Eva slaps Asuka on the apron and Asuka tries to get in the ring but is stopped. Bayley suplexes Eva. Jax runs in to leg drop Bayley when she moves and Eva is hit. Bayley dropkicks Nia out of the ring. Bayley hits Bayley to Belly on Eva Marie for the win.

Winners: Bayley & Asuka - by pinfall (4:00)

Bayley and Asuka are celebrating when William Regal comes out to the ramp. He congratulates them before complimenting each woman on their accomplishments. Regal then announces Bayley will defend the NXT Women's Championship against Asuka at TakeOver: Dallas. Asuka smiles as Bayley nervously stares back

2 weeks ago - Baron Corbin attacked the debuting Austin Aries. Phillips & Graves interview Aries from commentary (via satellite). Aries thanks the NXT Universe for welcoming him. He was excited to make his debut until Corbin ruined it. Aries said Corbin should've just asked for his advice. Aries says Corbin is big, bad, and insecure. Aries earned his NXT contract by being the greatest as what he does. Corbin will be taught a lesson in Dallas.


Emma vs. Asuka will headline next week's episode of NXT.

Jason Jordan and Chad Gable make their way out first. Aiden English and Simon Gotch enter last.

#1 Contenders Match: American Alpha vs. The Vaudevillains

Gable and Gotch start the match. Gable takes Gotch down to the mat and then into a cover. Brief waist lock is applied before Gotch is back down with his arm locked up. Gable manages to cover the shoulders at one point. Gotch wrestles Gable down, but Gable flips him over. Gotch kicks Gable in the head and makes the tag. Gable flips English before making the tag. Jordan and Gable dropkick English and clothesline Gotch out of the ring together.


Gotch has Gable locked up as we come back from break. English tags in and The Vaudevillains double chop. English covers, two count. English applies a headlock on the mat. Gable works his way to his feet, but isn't able to reach Jason. Gotch comes back in and covers Gable.

Jordan and Gotch are down outside the ring as Gable and English are down in the ring. Gable reaches his feet first but is rolled up by Aiden. English catches Gable's kick and and powerbombs him, nearfall. Jordan tags in and English runs into an empty corner where he eats a spear. Gable tags and they hit the double team back drop for the win.
