Tom Phillips welcomes us to the show as we are on the road to NXT TakeOver: Dallas. Corey Graves is also on commentary.

Elias Samson makes his way to the ring for the opening match. Johnny Gargano enters next.

Elias Samson vs. Johnny Gargano

Samson and Gargano lock up. Samson immediately takes Gargano down with a left arm lock. Gargano rolls through and flips Samson around to reverse the hold. Samson elbows out of it near the ropes and he unloads with kicks in the corner. Samson catches Gargano with clothesline. Samson stares aimlessly at the crowd while Johnny is down. Gargano gets to his feet and connects with a forearm to the face. Gargano rolls Samson up and kicks him in the face without pinning. Gargano flies into the ring from the apron, but Samson drills him with a knee. Gargano rolls Samson up out of nowhere for the three.

Winner: Johnny Gargano - by pinfall (2:13)

Afterwards, Samson attacks Gargano and hits the neckbreaker. Samson tosses Gargano out of the ring and the attack continues there. Samson says that Gargano embarrassed him. Samson goes to attack more when Apollo Crews runs down the ramp to stop him. They stare at each other as Samson slowly walks away backwards.

Phillips and Graves discuss Samson's first loss that just occurred. Graves supports Crews in this case. Later tonight, Emma faces Asuka.

Rich Swann makes his way to the ring for the next match. Swann's current gimmick and music is similar to Xavier Woods' NXT days. NXT Champion Finn Balor enters. Balor will defend the NXT Title against Samoa Joe in Dallas.

Rich Swann vs. Finn Balor

They slap hands before locking up. Balor slams Swann and tries to keep him grounded on the mat. Swann's feet reach the bottom rope to break the hold. They lock up again, Balor works the left arm. Swann shows off a bit by teasing a kick up. Swann money flips Balor, but Finn keeps the wrist hold in tact. Balor flips Swann over into a headlock. Swann takes Balor down with a head scissors, cover. Balor quickly applies a hammer lock. Swann flips around before dropkicking Balor. Swann kicks Balor right in the head.

Balor goes up top but Swann takes him down with an amazing hurricanrana. Balor slips back in the ring and chops Swann. Balor dropkicks Swann out of the ring, followed by a running kick from the apron. Balor tosses Swann back in the ring for corner dropkick. Balor goes up top and connects with Coup de Grace. Balor finishes Swann off with Bloody Sunday for the win.

Winner: Finn Balor - by pinfall (5:21)

Alex interviews Emma & Dana Brooke backstage. Emma is asked about her rematch with Asuka. Emma says she's been doing a lot of training with Dana. Brooke mentions she's been injured because of Asuka. Inside, she's not okay. But, tonight, Emma will do the job. Emma says she's been waiting to prove that she's not down and out. Asuka may be the empress of tomorrow, but she won't last past today.

William Regal signed a huge match last week - Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Sami Zayn. We see a video package on Nakamura featuring his press conference and contract signing. Last week, Nakamura appeared on the tron and told Sami he would see him in Dallas.

Alexa Bliss makes her way to the ring with Blake & Murphy accompanying her. Sarah Dobson is already in the ring.

Alexa Bliss vs. Sarah Dobson

Bliss and Dobson lock up and split quickly. Dobson dodges a clothesline and hits a dropkick. Bliss makes Dobson eat the turnbuckle before pinning her. Bliss stands on Dobson near the ropes. Dobson manages to roll Bliss up, but Bliss gets back up to drill her with a knee strike. Bliss stretches Dobson's left arm. Bliss holds Dobson in the ropes with her leg. Bliss spears Dobson a few times until Dobson flips over the turnbuckle and boots Alexa. Dobson attempts a crossbody but manages to only hit Bliss with her knee. Dobson trips Bliss into the ropes. Blake distracts the ref and Murphy assists on the other side. Bliss hits the Sparkle Splash from the top for the win.

Winner: Alexa Bliss - by pinfall (4:06)

Samoa Joe walks out on a backstage interview when Alex emphasizes Finn Balor's abilities.

Bull Dempsey makes his way out for his match against Danny Burch. Samoa Joe attacks Bull from behind and Joe applies the Clutch on the ramp. Joe goes down to the ring and chokes out Burch as well. Joe screams at the camera, claiming that Balor will not escape. Joe promises to take *his* championship.

Phillips & Graves hype Revival vs. American Alpha for TakeOver. We see a video package on Jason Jordan & Chad Gable. Last week, American Alpha beat The Vaudevillains to become number one contenders to the NXT Tag Team Titles. Jordan & Gable their start as amateur wrestlers. Jordan went undefeated one season but then failed in the end. Gable once competed at the Olympics for gold and lost. American Alpha promise not to let those type of loses happen again.

Backstage, we see Asuka warming up.

A vignette airs for "No Way, Jose."

Next week - Apollo Crews vs. Alex Riley, Samoa Joe vs. Bull Dempsey.

Emma makes her way to the ring for the main event with Dana Brooke accompanying her. Asuka enters last. Asuka will challenge Bayley for the NXT Women's Championship in Dallas.

Emma vs. Asuka

Emma and Asuka lock up. They end up in a corner where Asuka ducks a clothesline and Emma dodges a kick. They circle each other before Emma applies a headlock into a take down to the mat. Emma shoulderblocks Asuka. Asuka grabs Emma's foot to trip her. Asuka applies a headlock of her own. Asuka shoulderblocks Emma and dodges a clotheslines. Asuka takes Emma down with the wicked jumping arm bar. Asuka knocks Emma off the apron with the flying hip attack.

Emma attempts to suplex Asuka, but Asuka grounds her. Emma tries to roll out of a potential crossface chicken wing. Asuka takes Emma down with a knee bar turned into an ankle lock. Emma flips Asuka through the ropes and out of the ring. Emma doesn't let Asuka get to her feet. Asuka is taken to the corner with kicks and strikes. Emma stands on Asuka's hair. Emma covers for a one. Emma stretches out Asuka's arms. The ref counts a couple times when her shoulders are down. Emma turns it into a headlock sleeper.

Asuka struggles to get out. Asuka manages to break free and kicks Emma a couple times until Emma slams Asuka to the mat back-first. Emma stretches out the arms again while driving the knee into her back. Emma drops a couple knees before yanking her hair back. Emma kicks Asuka in the corner before placing her upside down. Emma lifts Asuka to kick her in the small of the back. Emma continues pulling Asuka's hair while standing on the outside.

Emma nails the corner crossbody, cover for two. Emma angrily strikes Asuka across the back. Asuka runs the ropes and connects with the hip attack. Asuka begins to unload with kicks when Emma stops her. Emma eats a few elbows but manages to counter with strikes of her own. Emma takes another hip attack, nearfall. Asuka cuts Emma off, but Emma runs Asuka into the corner. Emma covers and uses the ropes; the ref catches her.

Emma argues with ref and turns around to dodge a kick. Asuka connects with a German suplex and a kick to the face. Asuka drags Emma down into the Asuka Lock for the win.

Winner: Asuka - by submission (13:42)
