Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy make their way to the ring for our opening match. Tom Phillips, Alex Riley, and Jason Albert hype their win over The Vaudevillains last week. Sin Cara and Kalisto make their way to the ring.
NXT Tag Team Championship Match: Lucha Dragons (c) vs. Wesley Blake & Buddy Murphy
JoJo formally introduces both teams. Sin Cara and Wesley Blake lock up. Sin Cara takes Blake down with an arm drag off the ropes. Blake slams Cara and tags Murphy. Sin Cara counters their double team move. Cara hits a dropkick on Blake, but Murphy counters with a dropkick of his own, cover. Tag is made, Blake stomps on Cara and hits a suplex, cover. Headlock is in on Sin Cara. Blake finally breaks the hold with an elbow to the head but puts it right back in. Blake kicks Cara in the corner. Sin Cara rolls Blake up and powerbombs him. Kalisto and Murphy get tagged. Kalisto hits a crossbody and corkscrew.
Kalisto hits a kick and rolls Murphy up. Blake breaks the pin and Cara clotheslines Blake out of the ring. Blake sends Cara into the apron. Murphy gets the tag. Kalisto hits SDS on Murphy and Blake runs in to pin Kalisto for the win!
Winners and NEW NXT Tag Team Champions: Wesley Blake & Buddy Murphy (4:00)
Blake and Murphy celebrate their big win as the camera shows the commentators. They hype up the new champ's hard work. We see footage from last week when William Regal announced a four-way Women's Championship Match for Takeover.
Bayley is backstage when Charlotte walks up. Charlotte says she will destroy Bayley if she pulls another stunt like that. Bayley says she's not sorry, but they have to be on the same page tonight as they team up to face Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch. The contract signing between Zayn and Owens takes place later tonight. Adrian Neville vs. Tyson Kidd is next.
Tyler Breeze talks to his phone and says despite being out of the tournament, he's not done yet.
Adrian Neville makes his way to the ring. Tyson Kidd makes his way to the ring as an odd interruption interrupts the start of his entrance.
Tournament Match: Adrian Neville vs. Tyson Kidd
Lock up, Neville and Kidd trade quick locks. They split up and face off again. Hands lock up, Neville is down with a waist lock. Neville outs in an arm lock. They split back up again as Kidd sits in the corner and waits. Neville has a headlock in and takes Kidd down to the mat with it. Kidd kicks Neville and throws him into the turnbuckle. Neville flips across the ring and hits a big hurricanrana in the middle of the ring. Neville does a back flip as the crowd gets even hotter. Kidd rolls back in and out of the ring. Neville gets out and tries chasing Kidd. Neville ends up getting tossed into the rail and steps outside the ring. Kidd tells the ref to count him out. Neville slips back in at nine. Kidd with a quick cover. Neville lays on the mat as they go to break.
Kidd has a headlock in on Neville as they come back from the break. Neville with a sunset flip, Kidd rolls out and hits a dropkick. Kidd covers Neville's head with the ring apron. The ref breaks the hold twice. Neville kicks Kidd and clotheslines him out of the ring. Neville jumps and flips out of the ring onto Tyson Kidd. Back in the ring, Neville kicks Kidd several times. Neville hits a standing moonsault, cover. Neville stops Kidd with another kick. Kidd suplexes Neville onto the ropes and then hits the spinning neckbreaker, nearfall. Kidd tries to hit a German, but Neville counters and hits a big powerbomb, nearfall.
Kidd dropkicks Neville off the apron and Neville falls to the outside. Kidd lands a big kick to the jaw from the apron. Back in the ring, Kidd pins Neville for a two. Kidd tries to put in the Sharpshooter, Neville kicks out of it and kicks Kidd across the head. Neville goes up top and hits Red Arrow for the win.
Winner: Adrian Neville - by pinfall (12:42)
The new announcer interviews Neville in the ring. Neville will face the winner of Baron Corbin vs. Bull Dempsey. Neville says he's getting back up again, winning this tournament, and becoming the most dominant NXT Champion once again.
Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch are interviewed backstage. Sasha says Becky will do the right thing at Takeover. Becky says she will do the right thing and walk out NXT Women's Champion. Blake and Murphy are interviewed said they will defend their titles anytime anywhere.
Charlotte makes her way to the ring for the divas tag team match. Bayley enters. Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch enter together.
Charlotte & Bayley vs. Sasha Banks & Becky Lynch
Bayley and Sasha start. Lock up, Banks with a shoulderblock. Bayley hits a shoulderblock of her own, pinfall. Bayley hits an arm drag. They have a sloppy encounter in the corner but they recover nicely. Becky gets the tag. Lynch strikes Bayley and tags Banks. Banks is picked up, Bayley is tagged out. Charlotte rolls Sasha up. Lynch gets the tag. Slap to the chest follows. Charlotte gets another pin in. Charlotte tags Bayley. Bayley hits an elbow drop. Banks grabs Bayley's hair while the ref is distracted. Becky hits a suplex and several leg drops, cover. Bayley is thrown in the heel corner. Banks gets the tag as they double team her, cover. Banks mocks Bayley as Sasha works the left knee.
Lynch gets the tag. Bayley counters with a suplex of her own. Charlotte and Sasha tagged in and collide. Charlotte counters the counter and hits a neckbreaker. Charlotte applies the figure four but Lynch breaks it. Charlotte clotheslines Sasha. Banks hits a neckbreaker. Bayley breaks the pin. Bayley hit Charlotte and Charlotte shoves Bayley when she gets up. Bayley fires back. Charlotte takes Bayley down with lots of punches. Everyone gets in on the brawl and the ref calls for the bell.
No Contest (5:58)
Bayley and Charlotte brawl alone in the ring as more referees try to separate them.
Finn Balor is interviewed backstage. Next week, Balor faces friend Hideo Itami. Itami walks up and says he was the one who brought him to NXT and he will take him out. Corbin vs. Dempsey is next.
Emma is backstage. She says things didn't work out the way she wanted and she's off to a fresh start and a new beginning here in NXT. She will face Carmella next week.
Baron Corbin makes his way to the ring. Bull Dempsey enters.
Tournament Match: Baron Corbin vs. Bull Dempsey
Corbin punches Bull and throws him in the corner. Corbin dodges offense and hits Bull pretty hard. Bull rolls out of the ring. Corbin chases after him and sends Bull back in the ring. Bull throws punches and headbutts Corbin. Corbin sends more right hands at Bull. Corbin splashes into Corbin and flips out of the ring to punch Bull again. Corbin hits End of Days for the win.
Winner: Baron Corbin - by pinfall (1:29)
Finn Balor vs. Hideo Itami and Adrian Neville vs. Baron Corbin is set to take place next week. Up next is a contract signing for Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.
Baron Corbin says he is one step closer to being NXT Champion. Bull walks up and says he got lucky he will knock his teeth down his throat... Baron shoves Bull and walks off.
William Regal is in the ring. NXT Champion Sami Zayn makes his way down to the ring. Kevin Owens makes his way to the ring. Regal says he will not let this contract signing turn into a brawl. So, if they touch each other, the match will be cancelled. Regal places the contract in front of Zayn. Sami signs it and then Kevin stares at Zayn. Sami asks Kevin if he will tell these people why. Sami says let's talk about the last 12 years. And all of their friendship has led to this. At Takeover, Sami will beat the hell out of Owens.
Owens grabs the pen, drops it, and grabs the mic. He says this contract says it's a non-title match. What he did at Takeover wasn't personal, it was business. Sami is not the prize, the NXT Championship is the prize. Owens says if they want the match, but until it's for the title, he's not doing it. Sami reluctantly decides to put his title on the line. Zayn tells Regal that he has to do it. Kevin wants it, Sami wants it, and the fans want it. Regal grabs the pen and makes it a championship match. Sami re-signs and Kevin signs it. Owens tosses the contract and pen at Sami as he walks off. Regal holds Sami back as Owens leaves the ring.
