Bobby Roode debuts

Bobby Roode makes his way to the ring sporting a suit as this is his first in-ring appearance on NXT TV. Phillips notes that Roode is a former world champion and is very familiar with Aries, Eric Young, and Samoa Joe (obviously). Roode says the wait is finally over. Roode enjoyed being at TakeOver: Dallas during WrestleMania weekend. He knew then that NXT was the perfect place for him to be.

Roode says we are all NXT. But to get to that next level... that's where Roode comes in. He says NXT and the fans need Bobby Roode. Now NXT has found "the man" in himself. Roode promises to take this company to the next level. Roode says presidents, vice presidents, and business men will replace the stupid people that sit in the crowd now. (He's heel). Roode goes on to discuss dressing like a superstar with his custom-made suits. And from this very moment forward, NXT will be glorious.

They rehash the teams they've beaten, adding some humor by naming Kermit The Frog and Miss Piggy among other fictional characters. Gargano says he's only worried about collecting the NXT Tag Team Titles instead of Pokemon. Gargano reminds them that the only team Revival hasn't dropped is Gargano & Ciampa. Dawson tries to the end the promo, but they end up brawling.
