The show opens with a video package on the bad blood between Samoa Joe and Shinsuke Nakamura.

Tom Phillips & Corey Graves welcome us to the show.

Rich Swann and No Way Jose make their way to the ring for the opening Tag Team Classic match for the evening. CWC competitors Drew Gulak and Tony Nese enter next.

1st Round: Rich Swann & No Way Jose vs. Drew Gulak & Tony Nese

The match starts with Swann and Gulak starting. Swann applies a headlock right off the bat. Gulak manages to roll up Swann with a unique cover, followed by another pin. Swann dropkicks Gulak.

Swann and Gulak clothesline each other. Nese and Jose are tagged in. Jose takes Nese out with clotheslines. Nese gets turned inside out by another wicked clothesline. Nese and Gulak find themselves on the outside as Swann dives out with a big flip. Back in the ring, Jose nails Gulak with a full nelson slam for the three count.

Winners: No Way Jose & Rich Swann - by pinfall

Swann and Jose cut promos of facing The Authors of Pain next.

It is announced that Hideo Itami is injured again and won't be able to team with Kota Ibushi in the Tag Team Classic.

Backstage in the trainer's room, Tye Dillinger says he wants a match against Bobby Roode in Toronto. The match is confirmed for November 19th.

Backstage, Austin Aries is asked who his mystery partner is for tonight, but he won't reveal it. Aries jokes about Itami's injury, claiming he has no spine.

Bobby Roode makes his way to the ring for the next match. Sean Maluta is already in the ring.

Bobby Roode vs. Sean Maluta

Roode starts the match with a lockup followed by a take down. Maluta breaks free from the hold and nails a dropkick. Maluta attempts a roll-up before Roode gets in a flurry of offensive. Maluta tries to fight back, but is planted with a spinebuster. Roode hits a DDT for the win.

Winner: Bobby Roode - by pinfall

Roode cuts a promo on facing Dillinger at TakeOver. Before long, Tye hits the ring and a brawl ensues. Tye finishes it by sending Roode over the top rope.

Backstage, Liv Morgan talks about Billie Kay and Peyton Royce and their recent issues. The Aussie chicks attack Liv and drag her out to ringside to further the beat-down. Royce grabs a mic and says they are putting the entire women's division, including Asuka, on notice.

The massive duo of Otis Dozovic and Tucker Knight make their way to the ring. Austin Aries enters next, followed by his mystery partner... Roderick Strong!

1st Round: Otis Dozovic & Tucker Knight vs. Austin Aries & Roderick Strong

Aries and Otis start the match. Dozovic tries to take control until Aries nails a kick. Otis gets in more offense until Strong is tagged. Knight comes in and hits an impressive dropkick. Otis comes back in, heads to the ropes, but Aries stops him with a chop. Aries and Strong double team briefly. Aries kicks Otis a few times until Strong comes in. Strong tries to roll Otis up, but has no luck and tags Strong. Knight comes back in with a hot tag before eventually spilling out of the ring. Strong lifts Knight, allowing Aries to nail an elbow. Strong connects with a running kick for the win.

Winners: Roderick Strong & Austin Aries - by pinfall

Backstage, Andrade Almas makes it known that he is only worried about himself moving forward.

Sanity makes their way out, as Danielle Kamella awaits.

Nikki Cross vs. Danielle Kamella

Cross unloads with offense right off the bat. Kamella manages to hit a suplex. Cross counters with a neckbreaker before biting and slapping herself. Cross connects with a swinging neckbreaker this time, to finish the match. Cross continues to assault Kamella after the bell is rung. Eric Young tries breaking it up, but gets slapped. The assault continues on Kamella, leading to the ref reversing his decision.

Winner: Danielle Kamella - by referee decision

NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura makes his way to the ring to say that he's not done with Samoa Joe. Patrick Clark randomly interrupts and challenges Nak to a match. Shinsuke doesn't waste any time by kicking Clark across the face. Joe runs out, but Nakamura saw him trying to sneak in. Joe heads back as Nakamura nails a Kinshasa on Clark to end the show.
