The show starts with a video package on the Tag Team Championship rematch which takes place tonight.

Tom Phillips, Corey Graves, and Percy Watson welcome as to the show. We are shown a video package of Billie Kay and Peyton Royce attacking NXT Women's Champion Asuka in the parking lot earlier.

Kay and Royce then make their way out to the ring for a tag match.

1) Billie Kay & Peyton Royce def. Macey Evans & Sarah Bridges via face-to-knee bulldog (2:00)

Royce dominated Macy to start the match. Bridges had little offense against Kay, but it didn't last long. Royce slammed Sarah into Billie's knee for the pinfall win.

Royce and Kay cut a promo on being the most dominant force in the women's division. An injured Asuka tries to break through referees to fight them. She slips in the ring but gets beat down again. Nikki Cross runs out to the ring and chases off Royce & Kay. Asuka gets up and runs into a missile dropkick from Cross.

Backstage, Nikki Cross, along with EY and Wolfe, tells an interviewer she will take the NXT Women's Title. Big Damo is seen watching them in the background.

Elias Samson sings a song before his match.

2) Elias Samson def. Jonathan Cruz via spinning neckbreaker (3:25)

Samson dominates off the bat, but Cruz is quick with counters and roll-ups. Cruz gets blind-sided by a clothesline into the ropes. Cruz manages to slap Elias a few times, prompting a boot to the face. Samson finishes Cruz with a spinning neckbreaker.

A recap is shown of Revival vs. #DIY in Brooklyn.

3) Andrade "Cien" Almas def. Oney Lorcan via Hammer Lock DDT (4:58)

We see footage of Lorcan beating Almas in Osaka, which aired two weeks ago. Almas controls this match to start. Almas does some showing-off, which ends up backfiring when Lorcan hits a blockbuster outside of the ring. Almas comes back with a big dropkick in the ring and follows it with an arm bar. Lorcan counters with a flurry of offense until Almas stops him dead in his tracks with an elbow. Almas dropkicks Lorcan's leg and hits a hammer lock DDT for the pinfall win.

Dasha asks Almas what we can expect from him in 2017. He says something in Spanish before saying this is his year.

Footage of the epic 2/3 Falls match between #DIY and Revival in Toronto is shown.

Tom Phillips interviews NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura backstage. Nakamura says he is proud of his victories over Samoa Joe to be NXT Champ again. Nak says he likes his next challenger, Bobby Roode. Nak says Roode will not be NXT Champion, though. Tom says Roode refused to be included in an interview, but gave Tom a ticket from NXT TakeOver: Dallas. (Which is where Nakamura debuted and Roode made his first appearance on NXT in the crowd).

4) #DIY (c) def. The Revival to retain the NXT Tag Team Championship (15:10)

Gargano and Dawson started the match with back-and-forth until DIY cleared the ring before the first commercial break. The Revival once again focuses on Gargano's knee early on. Dawson distracts the ref when Gargano rolls up Dash at one point. Dash & Dawson, as usual, do a great job at being the dirtiest players in the game. Ciampa gets the hot tag to take out Dawson. Ciampa hits the big running knee for a nearfall.

Ciampa manages to get Dash trapped in the arm bar. Gargano intercepts Dawson, but they end up falling on their partners to break it up. Wilder interferes several times illegally, but Dawson can't finish Ciampa. Gargano gets the tag as Dash & Dawson are both down. They eat a double running knee to the face. Gargano and Ciampa do a double pin to retain!

Replays of the fun encounter air. Gargano & Ciampa raise their arms and celebrate until The Authors of Pain music hits. Paul Ellering walks out, but the Authors attack the champions from behind.

Backstage, William Regal announces these teams clash for the titles in a few weeks in San Antonio. Next week, Roode and Nakamura will have a contract signing. An upset Asuka barges in his office and demands he set up a four-way title match for TakeOver. To be continued!
