From the Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne, Australia
Report by CJ Blaze of

Tom Phillips and Corey Graves welcome us to the show, as it will be headlined by an NXT Championship Steel Cage Match. Australia's own TM61 will challenge for the NXT Tag Titles as well.

1) The Revival def. Tino Sabatelli & Riddick Moss via Shatter Machine (under 12 minutes)

Sabatelli and Moss each had a good showing here with some offensive opportunities, but this was primarily a showcase for former champions Dash and Dawson. Moss ate an impressive Shatter Machine for the finish.

2) Tye Dillinger & Buddy Murphy def. Elias Samson & Bobby Roode via Tye-Breaker (11:15)

Samson cut a promo before Roode came out. Hometown hero Buddy Murphy received a warm welcome. Dillinger was also over like rover. It was interesting to see Murphy play the babyface role, but he seemed to fit. Roode avoided working with Dillinger early on. Murphy had an impressive front flip out of the ring onto Roode. Tye finished the match by hitting the Tye-Breaker on Samson.

3) Ember Moon def. Billie Kay and Liv Morgan via Eclipse (8:30)

Aussie's Billie Kay ditched the ring early, allowing Morgan and Moon to clash. Liv controlled the bout briefly after a double bulldog and several covers on both women. The odds soon shifted in Billie's favor, working her opponents individually. Kay nailed Moon with a rolling elbow at one point for a nearfall. Kay did her best to get her home country to boo her throughout.

Ember began to take control with a flurry of offense on Kay. Liv ran up top to stop Moon. Billie power-bombed Morgan at one point, but she kicked out. Moon, still perched on the turnbuckle, caught Kay with the Eclipse stunner for the win.

4) #DIY (c) def. TM61 to retain the NXT Tag Team Championship via double running kick (15:25)

Miller and Thorne received a big pop from their hometown fans during their entrance. The teams shook hands before the bell. Ciampa and Thorne did some chain wrestling to open the bout. TM61 definitely kept the champs on their toes with this one. Miller power-bombed Thorne, who had Gargano trapped, nearfall followed. Ciampa nailed Thorne with a big backbreaker for another nearfall. Ciampa pinned Thorne after DIY hit the double running kick in the middle of the ring.

Post-match, the teams met in the ring for a standing ovation and handshakes once again. This was another really strong tag team showcase like last week's NXT Tag Title match. Props to everyone involved.

Next week, NXT returns to Full Sail as NXT Women's Champion Asuka will be appearing. The Revival will get their NXT Tag Team Title rematch against #DIY.

5) Shinsuke Nakamura (c) def. Samoa Joe to retain the NXT Championship in a Steel Cage match via Kinshasa (20 minutes)

Replays of Nakamura regaining the title in Osaka air before the entrances. This was pretty similar to their previous encounters - hard-hitting and sometimes brutal - but this time with a cage keeping them trapped together. Nakamura hit two final Kinshasa's (three overall) to ensure he kept the belt around his waist.
