The show opens with a video package on Bobby Roode vs. Kassius Ohno for the NXT Championship.

Tom Phillips, Percy Watson, and Nigel McGuinness welcome us to the show from commentary.

A pre-taped promo from the Ealy Brothers air.

1) The Authors of Pain def. The Ealy Brothers via The Last Chapter in 1:22. Gabriel takes it to Rezar to start the match, but it doesn't take long for the Authors to take control and hit the Super Connector. They hit The Last Chapter for the win.

Paul Ellering grabs a mic and says The Revival is the next name in the book of destruction. #DIY come out. Gargano & Ciampa joke about not knowing what the word algorithm means before mentioning the only two that can beat AoP is DIY. If it wasn't for Revival, DIY would be 2x champs, and they believe they deserve a fair championship rematch.

The Revival comes out next. They hype themselves as the greatest tag team of all time. William Regal comes out. He books The Authors of Pain vs. The Revival vs. #DIY in a triple threat elimination match for the Tag Titles at TakeOver.

A video package on Asuka's dominance airs as she prepares to defend against Ember Moon at TakeOver.

2) Nikki Cross def. Macey Estrella via six swinging neckbreakers in 2:28. This was Estrella's TV debut as she's a former military police woman in the Marine Corps.

Immediately after the match, Tye Dillinger and No Way Jose hit the ring to attack Sanity. Sanity gets the upper hand once again and leaves the faces wiped out.

Earlier this week - Almas and HoHo Lun have a confrontation at the Performance Center, prompting Oney Lorcan to intervene. Backstage, Lorcan calls Andrade a bully and that's one thing he can't stand. Lorcan challenges Almas to bully him. A match is set for next week.

Also confirmed for next week - Dillinger, No Way Jose & Roderick Strong vs. Sanity.

Backstage, Kassius Ohno cuts a promo on putting his past failures to rest now. Before entering, Roode says he's going to prove once again why he's the champ. Shinsuke Nakamura watches the title match backstage.

3) NXT Championship Match: Bobby Roode (c) def. Kassius Ohno via a Glorious DDT in 17:48. These two worked a fun back-and-forth match.

As a result, Roode will defend against Shinsuke Nakamura at TakeOver: Orlando in less than three weeks.
