Tom Phillips, Percy Watson & Nigel McGuinness welcome us to the show from commentary

1) Killian Dain def. Danny Burch via Ulcer Plantation in 2:50.

A vignette for the "Velveteen Dream" Patrick Clark airs.

2) Heavy Machinery def. Ricardo Watts & Hector Kunsman via pinfall in 1:40. The poor jobbers suffered a crushing double body slam. After the match, Tucker Knight cuts a promo and makes it known that they want The Authors of Pain.

Backstage, Bobby Roode is shown talking to Kona Reeves.

Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa are asked about Heavy Machinery's comments. DIY calls them guys with the size to win the prize. Johnny brings up the fact that they are still owed a fair rematch. Ciampa says they welcome competition, but the line starts behind DIY.

3) Hideo Itami def. Kona Reeves via GTS in 2:08. Reeves attacked Itami before the bell, but it didn't take long for Itami to come back.

We see a video package on Drew McIntyre's return to NXT.

The second part of "Who is Roderick Strong?" airs as he and his fiancee prepare the arrival of their first kid. They touch on his time on the indy scene and working Ring of Honor.

Bobby Roode is shown in William Regal's office. Regal announces Hideo Itami vs. Roderick Strong to determine a number one contender.

Aleister Black will be in action next week.

4) #1 Contender's Battle Royal: Ember Moon, Ruby Riot & Nikki Cross are left when Asuka comes out and attacks everyone. (11:45)

The 15 participants included: Lacey Evans, Billie Kay, Peyton Royce, Nikki Cross, Liv Morgan, Ruby Riot, Sonya Deville, Aliyah, Bianca Blair, Victoria Gonzalez, Candice LeRae, Kimberly Frankele, Rachel Evers, Sarah Bridges, Ember Moon.

William Regal comes out and announces Asuka will defend against Moon, Cross & Riot in a four-way at TakeOver: Chicago.
