WWE NXT Results (9/14/16)

Tom Phillips & Corey Graves welcome us to the show as Samoa Joe makes his way out in street clothes. Joe grabs a mic and starts by hinting at the fact that he's seen who he's been lately - a man that's gone too far. Joe reviews choking out enemies and destroying friendships. But he makes no apologies because he wanted to be the top champ for the hottest brand. Joe then invites Nakamura out.
NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura comes out to a big pop as usual. Joe says he meant everything he said before they met in Brooklyn. They didn't need all the hype though for their war at the sold-out Barclays Center. Joe says he's gonna change things with action. Joe wants his rematch once he's cleared. Nakamura says "rematch?" before telling Joe "you're on."
Joe starts to leave the ring, but turns around for a handshake. Nak shakes his hand and Joe leaves the ring. Nakamura poses in the ring and celebrates. Nak poses on the stage, but Joe attacks him from behind. Joe takes Nak down to the ring for a beat down. Nak tries fighting back, but gets sent into the steps. Joe then slams Nak onto the steps and leaves. The refs throw up the X and a stretcher comes to pick him up. Regal eventually comes out to oversee what's going on.
Phillips recaps the action as Graves comes back to the table. They thought it was about respect, but Joe fooled us all. Regal is shown running outside, but Joe takes off in a car.
Liv Morgan makes her way out for the first match. Rachel Fazio, f/k/a Rachel Ellering, makes her way out next.

Lock up, Fazio tries taking Liv to the corner. Morgan manages to get Rachel rolled up before rolling Rachel in a 360 back into a cover. Morgan dodges Rachel's moves, does a hip toss. Morgan punches Fazio and rolls her over into a submission. Fazio taps.
Winner: Liv Morgan - by submission (1:53)
Morgan grabs a mic and says no offense, Rachel, but you just tapped the hell out. Liv says word on the street is that no one is left to fight for the NXT Women's Championship. Liv says she's standing right here, right now, and she wants to fight. Morgan wants the NXT Women's Title and she wants Asuka. Morgan concludes by telling Asuka she's coming for her.
CWC competitor Drew Gulak makes his way to the ring. Hideo Itami enters next.
Drew Gulak vs. Hideo Itami
Gulak takes Itami down briefly before they get back to their feet. Gulak takes Itami to the ropes, they break. Gulak slaps Itami right across the face. Itami slaps him right back and whips Gulak across the ring, connecting with two running knees. Itami chops Gulak and kicks him right across the chest viciously. Itami kicks Gulak's face before they trade blows. Gulak boots Itami out of the corner, but Itami counters with a kick. Gulak counters with a dropkick of his own. Gulak sends Itami flying into the ropes, cover.
Gulak wraps up Itami's left leg on the mat. Gulak then moves his focus to working the shoulders. Gulak hits a back body drop, cover. Itami gets up and kicks Gulak several times. Itami does the corner dropkick before connecting with the GTS for the win.

The Authors of Pain make their way out as two jobbers are already in the ring.

Razar wipes out the white trunk jobber with a quick elbow. Jobber is placed on the turnbuckle as Akum comes in. Akum super clotheslines the jobber into next week. The black trunk jobber is dragged into the ring and struck by Akum. The AoP double slam jobber two to the mat. Razar is tagged and they hit their double clothesline finisher on the first jobber for the win.

Backstage, Tye Dillinger discusses his big comeback late this summer. He says he'll always be a perfect ten.
No Way Jose enters for the main event. Bobby Roode makes his way out last as the crowd sings along to his 'glorious' theme.

Lock up, Roode flips Jose over and poses. Jose gets to his feet, not looking pleased. Lock up again, headlock on Jose. Roode comes off the ropes with a shoulderblock. Jose stops Roode from running the ropes, nailing a hip toss. Jose chops Roode and sends him flying over his shoulders. Jose jumps out onto Roode outside the ring.
Jose stomps on Roode in a corner as we come back from break. Roode catches Jose with a spinebuster. Roode stomps on Jose several times. (Phillips updates us on Nakamura - he's regained feeling in his extremities.) Roode continues to take control, holding Jose in the ropes as long as possible. Roode holds Jose up for a stalling suplex. Jose starts to come back, nailing a crossbody in the middle of the ring.
Roode nails a back body drop, cover. Roode applies a headlock on the mat. Jose works his way up and out, but Roode counters into a suplex. Jose counters the suplex and punches Roode a few times. Jose lifts Roode, dropping him with the TKO, nearfall. Roode hits Jose with a big elbow to the face. Jose bounces back and tries for the big punch. Roode reverses it with a neckbreaker. Roode plants Jose with a DDT for the win.
Winner: Bobby Roode - by pinfall (8:30)
Roode celebrates in the ring to end the show.
