The show opens with an awesome video package highlighting the Wargames main event with some attention given to the Women's Championship and NXT Championship as well. The video closes with footage of two cages being lowered from an older Wargames match.

1. Kassius Ohno vs. Lars Sullivan

Lars starts out strong on Ohno, manhandling him all the way to the outside but then eats a big boot when they return to the ring. Lars quickly comes back but eats ANOTHER boot. He catches Ohno with a pop-up powerslam but Ohno boots his arm away and strikes him with elbows and forearms. A vicious cyclone kick from Ohno gets him a two count. Lars sits up and eats another boot and keeps getting up every time he eats the foot. Ohno then stomps his head repeatedly and nails him with a senton for... a one count. Ohno strikes with more elbows but Sullivan nails him with the Freak Accident to get the pinfall victory.

WINNER via PINFALL: Lars Sullivan (5:14)

Tyler Bate, Trent Seven, Mark AndrewsandWolfgang are in attendance.

A video package is shown focusing on the history between Aleister Black and Velveteen Dream.

2. Aleister Black vs. Velveteen Dream

Velveteen Dream channels Rick Rude with his choice of custom tights. A long lockup sequence goes nowhere and Black maintains the early control with a deep armdrag. Dream tries a chinlock reversal but Black holds onto the arm and rolls through the sequence twice in a row. Reversal sequence leads back into an armbar by Black and then he applies a modified octopus submission on his opponent in the middle of the ring. Black does an impressive springboard backflip but Dream dances in front of him and then they have a sit-off with both crossing their legs. Black suddenly springs up with an Oklahoma roll and goes for another armdrag but Dream chokes him on the ropes to escape and flattens his opponent with a lariat. Black gets sent to the outside allowing Dream to... deny the crowd a dive and roll back in the ring. Black gets in and pushes Dream away but gets superkicked in the face for a near fall. Dream pummels his opponent with right hands in a mount position and then drops him with a Rude Awakening for yet another near fall. Camel clutch is applied to weaken the back of Black (ha!) but he fights out and they get into a slugfest. Dream ties Aleister up in the ropes and demands that he say his name but Black kicks him away... and then eats a slap. That fires him up enough to take Dream down with clotheslines and a knee to the head. He charges in the corner with a knee and unloads with a quebrada for a two count. Black gets him up but Dream shoves him in the coner... and gets kicked away. A number of reversals leads to a kick/forearm slugfest and a Death Valley Driver gets Dream a near fall. He sets Aleister up on the top rope but the Brit slips out and kicks Dream in the face. A running knee strike gets another very close pinfall but Dream comes back with a modified DDT that looked PAINFUL... and only gets a two count. Wow. Dream goes up top but eats boot and is then tied up in the ropes. Aleister takes advantage with a boot to the face but gets superkicked in response. Aleister delivers another knee to the face but it takes the Black Mass to finally put Dream down for the count of three. Wowsers.

WINNER via PINFALL: Aleister Black (14:39)

Following the previous match, Aleister Black says "enjoy infamy, Velveteen Dream."

Asuka, Funaki and Finn Balor are in attendance.

A video package is shown focusing on the upcoming Women's Championship match.

3. NXT Women's Championship Fatal Four Way Match
Ember Moon vs. Kairi Sane vs. Nikki Cross vs. Peyton Royce

Before the match begins, Billie Kay tells Peyton that she'll have to be on her own in this match. Peyton breathes heavily and then accepts her fate (or destiny). All four women pair off to start with action that is almost too quick to call here. Moon drops Royce with a headscissors but she knocks both Moon and Cross down with a side kick and gets a two count. Kairi and Ember then square off for a bit but Moon breaks away with a pescado on Cross. Sane takes down Royce with a flying forearm smash to the outside and then Moon takes BOTH of them out with a tope suicida. Moon and Cross trade forearms until the SAnitY member is powerbombed on the outside. Sane gets Moon in the ring and uses some sledges to the chest and then chops her down in the corner. She charges with a spear in the corner but gets caught with a nasty submission hold in the ropes from Peyton. Moon breaks it up with a superkick and gets rolled up by Sane for a near fall. Moon leapfrogs Sane but Royce receives the spear from the Mae Young Classic winner. Kairi heads up top but Moon stops her and sets her up for a superplex. However, Peyton powerbombs them both down in a Tower of Doom spot and gets a two count on both women. Suddenly, Nikki Cross is back and hits a cross-body on all three opponents. She goes crazy on Ember in the corner and then does the same to Sane with kicks followed by clotheslining Royce over the top rope. Neckbreaker gets Cross a two count on Sane but is broken up by Moon. A big boot from Ember sends Cross down but gets cut off and nailed with a slingshot neckbreaker. Meanwhile, Peyton hits Nikki with a fisherman's suplex and gets a heart-stopping near fall broken up by Sane at the last possible second. Sane hits the InSane Elbow on both Cross and Royce but Moon breaks it up at two. Moon heads up top but Royce cuts her off. One half of the iconic duo goes after Cross but Ember Moon drops both of them with the Eclipse at the same time and covers Cross for the win and the title.

WINNER via PINFALL (over Cross) and NEW CHAMPION: Ember Moon (9:52)

After the match, Asuka hands the title over to Ember and raises her arm in the air.

Kevin Owens andSamoa Joe are in attendance.

A video package was shown focusing on the feud between Drew McIntyre and Andrade "Cien" Almas.

4. NXT Championship Match
Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Andrade "Cien" Almas [w /Zelina Vega]

Lockup to start and Almas is immediately shoved into the corner. The challenger fights out with a slap to the face but gets taken down with a double sledge. Almas grinds on the headlock until McIntyre fights out and boots his opponent in the head. He attempts to toss Almas to the outside but he catches himself in the ropes and poses... so Drew boots him out of the ring! Drew rolls Almas back in but gets booted in the face. He manages to counter interference from Zelina and get back in the ring but goes shoulder-first into the corner, allowing the challenger to take over. Almas grinds the champ down with a knee to the neck and a reverse DDT but only gets a one count. He drapes Drew's arm over the ropes with an armbar leading to a two count this time. Almas maintains his advantage by holding onto the champion's arm but a reversal sequence leads to a suplex by McIntyre. However, Almas recovers first... and ends up receiving a pair of overhead belly-to-belly throws. Drew nails Almas with an axehandle off the top rope and then a Celtic Cross that gets him a near fall.

Almas interrupts the setup to the Claymore Kick by booting Drew in the face and he gets a tornado inverted DDT for two. He goes for the Hammerlock DDT but McIntyre fights out and hits a reverse Alabama Slam for a two count. OUCH. However, Almas dropkicks Drew off the top rope to the outside and manages to headscissors the champion to the ringpost. A moonsault to the outside off the TOP ROPE gets a two count as Almas quickly rolls Drew back into the ring after the move. Almas manages to block a superplex though, hits the double stomp (hello Alberto) and then drives his knees into Drew's face in the corner... for a two count! Another nifty reversal sequence leads into a sit-down powerbomb from Drew for a near fall. The two get into a chop war but Almas quickly cradles him for two. Drew then hits the Future Shock DDT outta nowhere... and gets two! Almas escapes a Celtic Cross off the top rope and does the double knees but this time to the back of the champ's head but still can't put him away!

Desperate, Almas grabs the title belt and it distracts the ref long enough for Zelina to hit a rana DDT. Hammerlock DDT from Almas... GETS A TWO COUNT. However, Zelina proves her worth again by getting Andrade's foot on the ropes at two after the champion hits the Claymore Kick! Drew crotches himself on the top rope when he makes another attempt at the Claymore Kick and Almas drops him with a top-rope DDT for the WIN! Holy $&!^

WINNER via PINFALL and NEW NXT CHAMPION: Andrade "Cien" Almas (14:54)

A video package is shown focusing on the history between Roderick Strong, Authors of Pain, SAnitY and the Undisputed Era.

Dustin Rhodes and Arn Anderson are in attendance.

5. Wargames
Roderick Strong/Authors of Pain [w /Paul Ellering] vs. SAnity vs. The Undisputed Era

Adam Cole, Roderick Strong and Eric Young start things off and reach a stalemate after no one really chooses an alliance. Cole gets an advantage by crotching both Eric and Roderick on the top rope and then focusing on the SAnitY member. He lays out Eric and then switches his attention to Roderick, slugging away and choking him in the corner. He keeps both opponents down and flattens Roderick with a snap suplex and Young with a neckbreaker. Roddy chops away on Cole and takes him down to the mat only to follow up with corner chops on both guys. He flattens both guys in the corners.

O'Reilly and Fish are the first team to become complete in the match and they quickly attack Roderick and Young in dramatic fashion. Young is pancaked against the cage by all three heels. Strong is taken down by a wheelbarrow suplex via Fish & O'Reilly followed by Roddy getting his leg all tied up between the two rings. Young is nailed with a brutal kick and now it's Strong's turn to get squashed against the cage.

The next team to be fully complete are Strong and the Authors even though the Undisputed Era attempt to keep the cage door closed. The AOP are relentless by destroying the Era including dropping O'Reilly on the section between the rings. Roderick gets launched onto EVERYONE in the second ring as the destruction continues. The Authors nail two opponents with Death Valley Drivers into two unfortunate souls waiting in the corner.

SAnitY are now in the match and Wolfe has a nightstick! He beats on the AOP with the weapon while Dain brings a pair of chairs, garbage cans and a chain into the ring. Oh, dear. The weapon destruction begins in the ring and Dain answers the crowd's request by grabbing two tables from underneath the ring. O'Reilly chairshots himself in the head when his opponent moves and then Fish is put through a garbage can! Dain chains the door closed and "swallows" the key before squashing both Authors in the corner and then delivering a senton/front dropkick combination. Killian Dain dives onto everyone and nearly gets the win but Adam Cole breaks it up. Dain swipes a kendo stick out of Cole's hand but Bobby Fish kicks him in the legs. However, Dain fights out and hits a Michinoku Driver on Cole... ONTO FISH! O'Reilly breaks it up at two. Dain and an Author simultaneously crush two opponents with a Samoan Drop/fallaway slam combo and then decide to slug it out until the other Author gets involved and powerslams Dain for a two count broken up by O'Reilly with the aid of a chain.

The Undisputed Era nail Strong with the TKO in an absolutely sick spot but Dain recovers and FLOORS Cole with a boot. Fish and O'Reilly chop Dain down and kick him in the chest but Wolfe manages to interrupt and take Fish down. However, O'Reilly is the last one standing and uses a chain, wrapping it around Wolfe and locking in a cross-armbreaker. Young breaks THAT up with the flying elbow... and then Fish breaks that up with a moonsault. The AOP hit the Super Collider on Fish and catch Dain in the middle at the same time! Young fights off the AOP and manages to DVD one onto the other one for yet another near fall. Roderick takes everyone down with a variety of backbreakers and gets an Olympic Slam on Dain amazingly but... say it with me... another near fall. Everyone but Adam Cole gets taken down in an insane Tower of Doom spot and Cole takes a moment to soak it all in. He tries to escape the AOP but they crotch him and set up two tables. He quickly gets away just as one of the Authors receives a SUPER GERMAN SUPLEX through a table! While Wolfe is legitimately busted open, Dain floors O'Reilly. Meanwhile, Adam Cole is still hanging out on top of the cage in fear.

Amazingly, Dain nails a coast-to-coast from the top rope! 350 pounds, folks. Cole prepares for a dive but Strong recovers and climbs the cage. SUPERPLEX ONTO EVERYONE ELSE IN THE DAMN MATCH... and COLE KICKS OUT AT TWO. Wolfe is finally back in the match after his really nasty cut has been somewhat cleaned up. The AOP nail Dain with the Last Chapter and then Fish and O'Reilly floor an Author with Total Elimination. Again, it boils down to Strong and Cole in the middle of the ring. Cole gets sent into the cage but Strong gets wheelbarrowed into the other side by Eric. Cole smacks Young with a kendo stick and then uses a chair to send a vicious knee into his head! UN. BE. LIEVABLE.

WINNERS via PINFALL (Cole over Young): The Undisputed Era (36:35)
