We noted in our initial coverage of Seth Rollins’s severe knee injury that it was very unlikely that he’ll be able to compete next year at Wrestlemania 32. WWE realizes that and have replaced him on the promotional poster for the show with Dean Ambrose. Wrestling News World reader Jorge Romero pointed out the difference and Tweeted it to us:
The absolute best case scenario would be for Rollins to return in May but there is a real possibility he misses the majority of the summer or even beyond that. WWE’s 6-9 month timetable is seen a bit aggressive because Rollins tore his ACL, in addition to his MCL and medial meniscus. It’s a bad injury that was worse than WWE feared.
