WWE Producer Keeps It Real With Critics On Social Media

Road Dogg continues to defend the current state of the WWE product following Survivor Series and the lowest Raw audience since 1997. Road Dogg, whose real name is Brian James, works backstage as a producer for the company and has considerable stroke. On Wednesday he tweeted the following:

Guys, I'll say this again; would the Whitehouse Press Secretary bury the POTUS? You're asking me to get real and Im asking the same of you.

You can keep burying the product and I can keep defending it. I literally have all day. Why is my stance so hard for you to see? #OUDK

The WWE product has been under increased scrutiny in recent weeks, reaching a what seemed to be a boiling point when a large number of the company’s fanbase decided not to watch Monday Night Raw this week. I’m unsure what people want Brian to do about it, as he’s working for Vince McMahon and as he astutely pointed out, he’s going to defend it.

As for this week’s Raw audience, the legendary Mike Mooneyham of The Post and Courier put the numbers in perspective:
