WWE Raw Audience Up Big After Survivor Series

This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw featuring fallout from Survivor Series garnered an average viewing audience of 4,246,000 viewers. The numbers received a considerable bump from a huge first hour, which I would attribute directly to people tuning in for a followup on Sting’s debut.

Below is a look at viewership by hour:

Hour one - 4,734,000 viewers
Hour two - 3,992,000 viewers
Hour three - 4,012,000 viewers

The sharp decline of 742,000 viewers from hour one to hour two is not cause for concern and most definitely due to the cable news coverage of the situation in Ferguson, Missouri. CNN garnered an average viewing audience of 6,265,000 viewers for the 9 PM hour, while Fox News drew 7,256,000 viewers during the same time period. MSNBC did 2,197,000 viewers.

Monday Night Football over on ESPN garnered an average viewing audience of 10,872,000 viewers.
