The show opened with a backstage segment involving Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley. Stephanie was excited to give him his performance review. Stephanie addressed ‘rumors’ of Undertaker appearing tonight, Foley said he had a strong feeling Undertaker would be there.

Seth Rollins came into the picture and told them he wanted to tell them face-to-face he would be entering the Royal Rumble match. Braun Strowman barged in and demanded Goldberg, Roman Reigns or else. Foley noted Goldberg wasn’t there tonight. Rollins said he could help and punched him. A brawl ensued and referees ran in to control it. Stephanie told Mick Foley to get things under control.

1) WWE United States Champion Roman Reigns fought Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho to a no contest with interference from Braun Strowman. Seth Rollins made the save.

After things completely broke down, Stephanie McMahon announced the bout wouldn’t end that way nor would Raw start that way. She said the fans were promised a handicap match for the U.S. title and they would get one, later in the show. For now, Seth Rollins will face Braun Strowman.

2) Seth Rollins vs. Braun Strowman fought to a double count-out at 11:25. The count out happened after Rollins jumped off the top of the ring post at Strowman on the floor. Strowman moved, leaving Rollins to crash into the barricade. Strowman attempted to drag Rollins to the ring but he couldn't get there in time. After, Strowman tried to use a chair but Rollins kicked the chair away from him. Rollins attempted a chair shot himself but Strowman escaped.

New Orleans Saints OB Drew Brees was shown seated at ringside with his children.

Backstage, Bayley and Sasha Banks talked about Bayley's shot at the WWE Raw Women's Championship. Sasha believes in Bayley and that they could have a match after. Charlotte Flair walked in and accused Banks of pretending to care about Bayley. Nia Jax walked in and a brawl ensued. Charlotte threw Bayley into a crate, while Jax worked Banks's knee.

3) Jack Gallagher beat Drew Gulak in 3:30 after a running dropkick


Tomorrow on Smackdown: John Cena will face Baron Corbin

Backstage, Mick Foley looked for Undertaker. Stephanie McMahon inquired and Foley said he would be there.

Shawn Michaels came out and put over the Royal Rumble being in his hometown of San Antonio. HBK told the fans not to pressure him when they chanted “one more match” and then he plugged his new movie, ‘The Resurrection of Gavin Stone.’

Rusev came out with Lana and Jinder Mahal.

While Rusev cut a promo, Enzo Amore and Big Cass came out, with Enzo still using the motorized scooter. HBK said the heels were being haters. Up next, Cass vs. Mahal with HBK at ringside.

4) Big Cass w/Shawn Michaels and Enzo Amore beat Jinder Mahal w/Rusev and Lana. HBK hit Sweet Chin Music on Rusev. The finished saw Cass hit a twisting slam and Empire Elbow for the win.

5) Neville beat Lince Dorado in three minutes. Neville reapplied the hold after the match but Rich Swann came out and attacked. Austin Aries stated on commentary it was good to see the fire out of Swann and he would need it if he was going to have any chance at beating Neville.

Backstage, Stephanie McMahon told Sasha Banks she would get the tag match they wanted tonight, even though she wasn't 100 percent.

6) Luke Gallows beat Sheamus in nine minutes with Karl Anderson and Cesaro on commentary.


Roman Reigns spoke to Charly about being prepared to defend his title. Reigns stated it doesn't matter how he feels or how many people he's defending the title against, it's about spearing the guts out of his opponents and holding the title high above his head.

Mick Foley came out and talked about going to the depths of heel with The Undertaker. He called on Undertaker one more time for one more encounter on Raw. The lights went out and the crowd popped but it was Stephanie McMahon. She apologized for Foley failing to produce Undertaker. She slighted Foley for Smackdown beating Raw in the ratings. Foley began to apologize but the lights went back down and Undertaker made his historic entrance.

The Undertaker cut a promo and announced he’ll be a participant in the 2017 WWE Royal Rumble match. He vowed to win the match and return to the main event at Wrestlemania. Anyone that gets in his way will rest in peace. WWE cut away at one point and showed Braun Strowman watching the announcement from the monitor in the back.

Tomorrow on WWE 205 Live: Cedric Alexander vs. Noam Dar

Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho spoke to Charly about being WWE Universal and United States Champion. Jericho said they’re already national treasures and even international treasures. Now they can be the face of America and Raw.

7) WWE Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte and Nia Jax beat Bayley and Sasha Banks when Jax pinned Bayley. Banks worked with her left knee taped.

Backstage, Alicia Fox walked in on Noam Dar fixing his hair. Fox kissed him and said he can't handle a real woman.

The New Day came out and Michael Cole recapped what happened last week with Titus O'Neil. Titus came out and apologized for attacking Xavier Woods last week. Titus wanted another chance to join them. Kofi cued up footage of Titus from WWE's NXT show from back in 2010. Titus got upset as they just introduced a side of NXT that some fans have probably never seen before.

Remember: Wrestlemania 34 will take place in The Big Easy at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Sunday, April 8, 2018.


8) Kofi Kingston w/Big E and Xavier Woods beat Titus O'Neil with Trouble in Paradise

Next week on Raw: The return of Brock Lesnar.

9) Chris Jericho beat Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens to win the WWE United States Championship in 11 minutes. Ring entrances were done for the main event. Roman attacked Owens at ringside. He fought Jericho from within the crash cage. The finish saw Kevin Owens throw Reigns into Jericho's Codebreaker and Jericho covered him for the three count.
