The show opens with Kurt Angle coming out to the ring and recaps last week's happenings with Jason Jordan. Angle addresses the Universal Title picture is getting ready to announce the SummerSlam match when Braun Strowman interrupts. Braun is soon followed by Samoa Joe. Joe makes his case before, you guessed it, Roman Reigns comes out. Angle finally books a four-way for SummerSlam. Joe is mad, which leads to a big brawl. Security and then the locker room try to break it up.

1) No DQ Match: Elias Samson def. Finn Balor in a lengthy match after Bray Wyatt showed up and hit Sister Abigail.

A video package on Kurt Angle and Jason Jordan airs. Backstage, Angle talks about Jordan before Emma interrupts. She wants to get noticed, and mentions possibly dating Jordan to do so. Angle books Emma vs. Nia Jax for tonight.

Elsewhere backstage, Big Show and Enzo share words on Enzo's rematch against Cass.

Enzo cuts a pre-match promo in the ring, but is met with crickets for the most part.

2) Big Cass def. Enzo Amore with a big boot in 3:30. Big Show comes out to make the save, but Cass gets the upperhand and nails 3 elbow drops.

Alexa Bliss is interviewed about her potential contenders. Alexa calls herself the real winner.

3) Nia Jax def. Emma via pinfall in 1:25.

Akira Tozawa is interviewed about his current issues with Ariya Daivari. Titus O'Neil interrupts and tries to convince Tozawa not to compete because of his shoulder. Titus has had the match cancel by Angle and the medical staff. Tozawa gets mad and marches out to the ring as Titus follows suit.

Tozawa waits for Daivari but out walks Neville. The champ talks down on Tozawa until he's had enough and attacks. They brawl until Daivari comes out and beats down both Tozawa and Neville.

Jason Jordan is interviewed about his match tonight against Curt Hawkins.

4) #1 Contender's Match: Bayley def. Sasha Banks via roll-up. Alexa Bliss was out for commentary. Bliss came down to the ring and taunted Bayley with her title.

Curt Hawkins is interviewed about Jason Jordan. Hawkins doesn't care about Jordan and promises to ruin his Raw debut.

5) Jason Jordan def. Curt Hawkins via neckbreaker in a minute.

The Revival cut promos in the ring until Gallows & Anderson interrupt. An impromptu match follows.

6) The Revival def. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson via Shatter Machine in 8:30 when The Hardy Boyz came out to the stage. The Revival escape a brawl afterwards.

7) Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins def. The Miz, Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas via Dirty Deeds in 17:20. Rollins offers his hand out for a Shield moment, but Dean leaves the ring.
