WWE Releases, Details On New WWE Network Programming, JBL Show

- WWE made a round of NXT cuts this past week. Names released from their developmental deals include Brian Reid, C Denzel Freeman, Courtney Freeman, Dustin Mueller, Leyvonna Zakari and Laszlo Vandracsek. The releases aren’t surprising as the company had planned to make some cuts as they signed new talent. We reported on the new signings here on WrestlingNewsWorld.com.

- The Mick Foley “Cheap Pops” comedy show that was taped on Friday night from the campus of Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida is scheduled to air next Wednesday on the WWE Network. Jim Ross opened for him, telling 30 minutes of stories before handing it over to Foley.

- Jerry’s Springer’s new “WWE Too Hot For TV” is scheduled to premiere next week on the WWE Network. The show will feature Springer showcasing and commenting on outrageous classic clips from the WWE tape library. Think “The Soup” by Joel McHale but for sports entertainment.
