WWE Releases New PPV Buyrate Data, Updated Look At 2014 Shows

While a buyrate of 113,000 would be considered a disaster in the pay-per-view era, things are much different with the evolution of the WWE Network. Here are the official traditional buyrate numbers for the WWE pay-per-views this year that have already been announced:

  • Wrestlemania XXX – 690,000 buys (compared to 1,039,000 w/Wrestlemania 29)
  • Extreme Rules – 108,000 buys (compared to 231,000 in 2013)
  • WWE Payback – 67,000 buys ( compared to 186,000 in 2013)
  • Money in the Bank – 122,000 buys

The official number for WWE Battleground will be available when the company reports their quarter three earnings for the year, at which time we will also get an update on the WWE Network subscriber count.
