WWE has signed a deal with JAKKS Pacific — the company that used to do their action figures — to create a new line of products. HiddenRemote.com reports JAKKS Pacific will produce, distribute and sell WWE products for everyday dress up, role-play and season costumes, radio control vehicles and JAKKS’ CD IT Character Creator brand. They will also distribute and sell WWE action figures across the Asia-Pacific region.
WWE still maintains their relationship with Mattel, as they have been creating their action figures since 2009 and have the master toy license for the company. WWE’s current deal with Mattel runs through 2019. JAKKS Pacific was WWE’s partner throughout the 1990s. The new line of JAKKS/WWE products will hit stores in 2016.
