Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring. Rollins says on Raw, he was seconds away from cashing in his Money in the Bank on John Cena. Rollins says Cena got lucky, but the clock is still ticking. Rollins says not even 24 hours after he won the title, he was unconscious in the ring. Rollins says sooner, rather than later, he will become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Rollins says to get used to the look of his face, as he will be the new face of the WWE. Dean Ambrose interrupts.

Ambrose says he is delusional. Dean says Rollins wont get his hands on the titles, because no matter what his plan is, he will be there every time. Dean asks Rollins how last week turned out, as he attacked Rollins before he could cash in. Ambrose says that will be Rollins' life for the next year. Rollins says he will ruin his future and his face. Rollins says he knows Ambrose better than anybody, saying he won't be able to keep that up for more than a year. Ambrose says he can, and will start right now.

Ambrose attacks Rollins in the ring, but Randy Orton saves Seth from Ambrose. Orton and Seth attack Dean, as Roman Reigns makes the save. Dean and Roman clear the ring. Triple H interrupts, as he puts Dean in a match against Randy Orton but if Roman interrupts, he will be taken out of the title match at Battleground.

United States Championship Match: Sheamus [C] vs. Alberto Del Rio

They lock up, as Shemaus and Del Rio trade fists. Sheamus backs Del Rio into the corner, with some boots to the gut. Del Rio does a Snapmare, followed by a kick across the back. Del Rio runs to Sheamus, but is hit with a Rolling Senton. Sheamus connects with a Knee Drop. Sheamus is kicked in the face, and hit with a Clothesline. Del Rio lays Shemaus across the apron, and connects with a kick to the head. Sheamus throws Del Rio into the barricade, and goes for the steel steps, but is reversed and sent into them himself. Both reenter the ring on the apron, as Del Rio connects with a Backstabber.

-Commercials

Shemaus and Del Rio trade fists in the middle of the ring, as Del Rio is taken out. Sheamus goes for a shoulder, but is kneed. Del Rio runs to Sheamus, but is hit with an Irish Curse. Pin, but a kick out. Del Rio goes for a Cross Armbreaker, but Sheamus picks him up for a Powerslam. Del Rio reverses into a Satellite DDT. Pin, but a kick out. Del Rio goes top rope, as Sheamus follows, hitting multiple clubs across the chest. Shemaus connects with a Battering Ram off the top rope, following with an attempted Brouge Kick. Del Rio reverses into a Cross Armbreaker, but Sheamus transitions it into a Cloverleaf. Del Rio grabs the ropes. Del Rio goes top rope, but Sheamus grabs him on his shoulders. Del Rio reverses into a Cross Armbreaker. Shemaus rolls it into a Buckle Bomb. Sheamus runs to the corner, but hits the Turnbuckle. Del Rio connects with a Superkick. Del Rio goes for a Moonsault, but misses, and is caught with a Brouge Kick.

Winner and STILL United States Champion: Sheamus (Pinfall)

Stardust and Goldust cut a promo backstage, speaking of the two being a celestial entity that the world has never seen. Stardust blows golden sparkles and Goldust breathes in his face. The two walk away.

Byron Saxton interviews Roman Reigns, as he says he will have to go through Randy Orton, Kane and John Cena; but will walk out the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Roman says to believe that.

A Money in the Bank Pre-Show video package is shown, with Daniel Bryan on his recovery and Bo Dallas.

Bo Dallas says he will enter the Battle Royal at Battleground for little Daniel Bryan.

Bo Dallas vs. Diego

Bo does the 'Ole,' but takes a Dropkick for it. Dallas connects with a Clothesline and a Knee Drop. Dallas is hit with a Diving Shoulder Tackle. Diego grabs Dallas with his legs, but is thrown into the mat. Dallas picks him up, and connects with a Bodog.

Winner: Bo Dallas (Pinfall)

Dallas speaks to El Torito and says if he wants to grow taller all he has to do is Bolieve. Torito hits a Gore to Dallas, as he taunts him. Dallas picks up Torito, and hits a Body Slam.

A video package of Miz and Chris Jericho from Raw is shown, until the Wyatt Family attacks Jericho.

Chris Jericho makes his way to the ring. Jericho says he is back on Smackdown for the first time in a year. Jericho says he fooled everyone by returning, but along came a spider. A dark venomous spider and his family. Jericho says he knew the Wyatt Family had become one of the most dominant stables since he's been gone, but thanks them. Jericho says he was reminded by entrances and chants, because the WWE is about survival, and they have never faced anyone like him. Jericho says that is the reason he is the best in the world at what he does. Jericho says they can do their big entrances, but if they want to get crazy, he will, but they will never ever be the same again. Bray Wyatt cuts a promo. Wyatt says he hasn't formally introduced himself, but he does as seducer and killer. Wyatt says if Jericho values his ability to breathe, he shouldn't get to close. Wyatt says Save Us, but should save himself. Jericho calls them out, but the Miz interrupts.

Miz asks Jericho how it feels to be interrupted. Miz says it could have been two former champions fighting the Wyatts, but Jericho tried to attack Miz's moneymaker, his face. Miz enters the ring, but hits a Codebreaker.

Big E makes his way to the ring. Cesaro makes his way to the ring. Cesaro ambushes Big E before the match, throwing him into the barricade. Big E fights back, doing the same to him. Cesaro grabs a chair, and hits Big E across the back. Cesaro throws Big E into the announce table and into the steel steps.

Diva's Champion AJ Lee vs. Eva Marie

Eva slaps AJ and throws her out of the ring. Marie attempts a Clothesline, but AJ locks in a Sleeper. Lee transitions into a Black Widow for the win.

Winner: AJ Lee (Submission)

Paige applauds Lee on her victory in the ring, and leaves.

Damien Sandow is in the ring dressed as Bruce Springsteen. Rusev makes his way to the ring. Sandow attacks Rusev, but is hit with a Superkick. Rusev throws him to the floor. Lana says today is America's Birthday so they launch fireworks to boost their esteem. Lana says the only thing they show is how much fatter they all get. Lana mentions Vladimir Putin. Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter interrupt. Colter says he hates two things, illegal immigrants and ungrateful ones. Colter speaks of the inventions of Americans, like the internet, car and space. Colter says the only thing they made worth while is Vodka. Colter is told to shut up, but he tells her. Colter says they came to get something straight, for a fight. Colter conducts a We the People chant. Rusev and Lana leave the ring.

Randy Orton makes his way to the ring. Dean Ambrose makes his way to the ring.

Dean Ambrose vs. Randy Orton

Orton is thrown into the corner, but Randy pulls on Dean's tapped shoulder. Dean goes for a Suplex, but is hit in the shoulder with a Dropkick. Pin, but a kick out. Ambrose stomps away at Orton, but is thrown headfirst into the turnbuckles. Orton pulls Dean's arm in the ropes. Orton grabs the arm, but Dean elbows away. Dean connects with a Crossbody. Dean goes for a Rebound Lariat, but is kicked in the shoulder.

-Commercials

Orton continues to work the shoulder, as Dean goes for a Dropkick. Orton sidesteps, and pins. Dean is thrown into the ring post, and Backdrops Orton onto the barricade. Dean then throws Orton into the ring post. Dean tries to restore feeling into his shoulder, as he connects with jabs to Orton. Orton is taken out with the one arm of Dean. Ambrose connects with a Diving European and sends Randy to the floor. Ambrose connects with a Suicide Dive, as he drives Orton into the barricade. Ambrose jumps onto Rollins, on commentary, then throwing him into the barricade. Dean rolls up Orton, but a kick out. Ambrose connects with a Rebound Lariat. Dean goes for Dirty Deeds, but is hit with a Scoop Slam. Orton throws Dean to the apron, but Ambrose counters, sending Orton to the top rope. Dean goes for another dive, but Rollins hits Dean in the shoulder with the briefcase.

Winner: Dean Ambrose (DQ)

Orton hits an RKO, as Rollins tears away at the tape. Orton holds Dean's shoulder, as Rollins goes top rope. Rollins interrupts, and connects with a Superman Punch. Roman goes for a Spear, but Rollins pulls him out of the way. Dean and Roman stand in the ring to end the show.
